Int’l Center for Women empowerment and Child Dev. (ICWECD) is a registered non-governmental organization with headquarters in Asaba the Delta State Capital. It came into existence in 2004. We operate nationwide. But our operations and activities are concentrated in Niger Delta region.

ICWECD has an excellent office accommodation which serves as the headquarters of the organization. Located at the Government Reservation Area (GRA) in the heart of Asaba metropolis. The office is well equipped with state of the art office equipment and facilities including the internet with the following departments –  the office of the Executive Director, Reception, Administration and Accounts Department, Public Relations, Documentation and Research Unit, Programme Department, Legal and Security Department. The office contains a library, a Conference Hall and Skill Acquisition center. The organization has a competent and experienced pool of regular and volunteer staff. We have correspondent offices in the United States of America (USA), United Kingdom (UK) as well as in Abuja, Lagos, Benin-city and Port-Harcourt and in various local government areas in Nigeria.

For over two decades, We have helped to bring the voiceless, weak, poor and downtrodden to a position where they build self confidence, better themselves and promote girl child education with a view to encouraging human development for the advancement of our nation and the world in general.
