The domestication of the child Rights Act, therefore became the first major issue that confronted the nascent children’s Parliament of ICWECD. As the speaker of the Parliament, Ogolme was in the forefront of the various activities and interventions of the children’s Parliament to lobby and persuade the Delta State House of Assembly and the State Government to domesticate the Child Rights law.
